Sealing solutions
For decades CARCO-PRP has delivered a package of dynamic seals suitable for the harsh working conditions of the steel mills, cement and paper industry; the same sealing solutions are used in the rolling mills for the production of Aluminium foil. The bearings in hot and cold rolling mills are exposed to severe working conditions. The radial lip seals must prevent ingress of cooling water and scale into the bearing and they must avoid leakage of the bearing lubricant. When the roll neck is fitted into the chock, the seal lip can be damaged, causing risk of corrosion of the bearing and pieces of broken spring into the rotating metal parts. The engineered profile of CARCOSEAL "ANTI TWIST LIP" eliminates the risk of lip damage and it provides the best protection of the bearing.

Rod ends, spherical plain bearings
For heavy-duty applications, the bearing selection process is extremely important. Typically, the bearings in these types of applications must accommodate:
