What are the advantages of ball transfer units?

Transport heavy loads from A to B Roller ball tables make this possible; whether conveyed goods in the form of food, airport goods or glass. Ball transfer units in the conveyor tables make it easy to roll sensitive goods in various directions.

Compared to metallic solutions with solid steel housings or aluminium versions with steel balls, ball transfer units from igus are 100% lubrication-free. In addition, the plastic ball transfer units can be used in any installation position, both horizontally, vertically and overhead. Thanks to its technical properties, the xirodur material used is particularly abrasion-resistant, durable and electrically insulating.

Guide rollers with maintenance-free operation by xiros®
In principle, guide rollers consist of a supporting axis enclosed by a supporting shell, as well as deep groove ball bearings with flanges as end caps. Our guide rollers can be used flexibly and can be equipped with different deep groove ball bearings depending on requirements. In addition to conveyor technology, the xiros guide rollers with ball bearings are used in labelling equipment, packaging and food industries, where they are sometimes used as deflection rollers. igus® ball bearings and guide rollers offer smooth and consistent operation, offering a wide variety of bearings designed for many different applications and industries.

Available outer diameters: 20, 30, 40, 38, 50, 63, 100mm for tube lengths up to 1,500mm.
