The three-phase asynchronous motor (or three-phase induction motor) is a squirrel-cage type motor, powered by a 3-phase AC voltage system.
Motors are offered from IEC frame 63 up to 355.
Frames 63 up to 90 have an aluminum frame as standard with cast iron end shields.
Motors with frames 100 up to 355 have a cast iron frame construction.
